Mirage - I

Mujhe sochne pe majboor karti hai yeh tanhaiyaan,
Un palon ke bare me jo sang tere bitaye the..
Mujhe majboor karti hain yeh tanhaiyaan,
Yeh band chardiwari aur in hawao ki gehraiyaan………

Ret haatho se utha kar udaati main..hawa ka rukh dekhti hu,
Aankhein utha ke main tera chehra dhundhne ki koshish karti hu!
Wapas apne chehre ko duppatte me chupa kar mushkura kar sochti hu,
Abhi toh gaye ho tum pardesh, abhi toh gaye ho tum pardesh…
Fir itni jaldi kyun tere aane ka andesh karti hu!
Wapas apne chehre ko duppatte me chupa kar khilkhila kar has padti hu.

Judai kya hoti hai… mujhse pooch lo tum!
Judai kya hoti hai… mujhse pooch lo tum!
Abhi toh tum ghar ki chaukhat se bahar gaye..
Abhi toh tum ghar ki  chaukhat se bahar gaye ho..
Aur hamein lagta hai jaise kitne baras bit gaye!

tanha hu… tanha hu abhi,
Viran sa lagta hai yeh ghar,
Sadke dhundhli si lagti hain aur log..
Log Ajeeb!

Mujhe sochne pe majboor karti hai yeh tanhaiyaan !

Paid Jail… a search story :)

One of my friends from IIT has recently joined a reputed educational group in Ghaziabad.
His pursuit to pursue a career in the education industry erupted from the idea of further pursuing PhD.
After joining there, he was in search of a rented accommodation. He tries his luck (ya luck.. property rates have gone up.. and similarly rent … inflation hitting these areas as well :) ).
My friend and his current room partner came across one 3 BHK in Gzb, to their amazement the Landlady was too sober and cooperative. She explained everything about the area.. Needless to say females are polite and a bit liberal. My friend paid the advance amount of Rs. 4000/-.

My friend was happy.. Later in the day the LandLord arrived and the story of a paid jail started from there…

Rule no. 1: Boys, you are supposed to be back by 9:30 pm sharp. Else you will stay outside … if you are in you are in..else you will stay outside.
Rule no. 2: None of your friends will visit your flat (No parties, no hangouts… no Life at all)
Rule no. 3: No non-veg food allowed (What if I tell you that I am a big time non-veggie!!)
Rule no. 4: We will keep inspecting (Police ka kam yahi hai.. !!!)

It is a society where mostly police personnel stay.
There were few more clauses.. I think this much is enough to kill a guy.. that also who is paying for staying there. Everything was a contrast to what the Landlady mentioned earlier.
I was told about this thing yesterday and it kept me thinking about that place.. its like a paid cellar !
I hope you all might have understood the end by now.. These IITians decided not to stay there. And the advance amount is still with the Landlord... non-refundable... subject to purchase of an inverter worth Rs. 12, 000/-

Good investment by my friends for a paid jail.. :)

The sweet Corn:

I wanted to move towards her.. must be 55 something.. grey hair, worn out clothes and shaking hands..

.. then I saw a bunch of kids; laughing and playing on the same side of the road at some distance....

A thought crept into my mind, they both will lie.. but the reasons would differ.
On one hand for a kid it would be just fun, fun of making someone a fool without understanding the legitimate value of truth and lies. For them life hasn’t sprung up like a cough while having corn. Away from the dire consequences of life.... but amongst them also there is a lot which is deprived of everything and is bound to take a leap in the mud.

The other... the lady.. for her the reasons for lying would include her family members.. may be an ailing husband or grand children. For her life had been rigorous and would be .. till she doesn’t drop life in her way out of this world. She has done it in past and might have sold a lot.. and again she will do the same to convince an unwilling customer; for those who are easily convinced you don’t have to lie a lot.
I was watching sceptically.. still wondering.. which way to go...my feet grounded.. obviously I want to have the corn. The smell was pulling me towards the roadside...
A jerk ...

I realised that I am on a bike and not walking... I am brought back to the real scenario as I get over with those 15-20 seconds of thoughtful moments.

Even after 4 days the picture of corn appears in front of me.. not because of hunger.. but because of the two entirely opposite facets of life.... Both struggling, dying to live, lacking the basic senses.. which way life will go for them ??

... carrying the smell of that sweet corn along...

feminist Feminism... few questions and a Big question mark...!!

The other day i was having a conversation with one of my friends regarding the situation of women and why women are usually sad.
That in all the societies women have suffered.. civilizations, religions, regions..across the globe women have suffered since time immemorial... ???
The reason given by my friend was that its all because of women.

"Women are responsible for the condition they put themselves in
and they continue to be in that state only. They don't want to come out of that state".

This was the argument proposed by my friend.
So let me ask few questions - Does the male society actually accept women being dominant and overpowering?
Isn't the male ego getting hurt again and again ?

From work place to bed rooms we advocate equality, now if women try to overpower,
then the male ego backfires. Why?
In the simplest of the things you don't want to accept the transformation, though we are living in the 21st century... The GEN Y thing is there!
Then why blame women alone?

In a more phased manner let me put forward few simple points-

1. Your sister is having a boyfriend -
How dare she? Doesn't she care about the family values? She will get married according to the family's choice.

Usual condition in almost every family and with every brother!

Why??
Even she wants she cant live the way she wants - she is responsible actually !!

2. Heartbreak -
If you leave her its fine, thats the male tendency, males are made to do that.. use and throw.
But if she ditches you - omg!
She is not of good character.
She played with my emotions, i loved her like anything. We Men are very committed when we commit (subject to all the terms and conditions)
.....All females are alike..they are not trustable and i wont love again.
A grown beard and few sad songs with multiple bottles of alcohol - The condition of a male after being ditched.
(You know they actually feel broken)

What the hell...then why don't you people always commit and stay stable?

3. The sex factor -

Here i would definitely quote that "When Sita failed to convince the masses even after Agni Pariksha..then what are we mortals?"

So..for females.. Everything is not allowed and for males... They are made to ... Fill in the blank database with their favorite means of communication!!

Why so much of biases and why see just one side of the coin?

4. The sibling rivalry -

Very well explained by Chandranshu sir that the reason behind all the family quarrels after marriage is mostly sibling rivalry.. but still Women are blamed everywhere.
Why?

5. I am right -

Males have this general tendency that they feel they are superior and are always right..But since they have to protect their so called prestige and remain calm.. so they irritate the other gender and enjoy the game by saying that females insist they are always right !

6. We Females are equally a loser after marriage -

We leave our houses - first thing first and after that if you dont care then why should we?
And since its a compulsion to bear all the torture - we keep quiet !
In other cases we are not acceptable kyunki, we made people of one family live separately.

And you say that females are responsible for their condition then please think again!

And yes when it comes to working women.. very few of you advocate it and when a woman needs to go for shopping (integral part), then you have
all the hue and cry out there.
Let them work..you wont be burdened with blank bank balances.

7. Females are submissive -

Now the ultimate point is females are submissive and they usually dont go overboard..

If they dont submit.. Will you accept her in your life... then she would be too smart to be handled and you would lable her as an independent person who cant adjust in A FAMILY!

Do you males actually understand females.. Before you talk about girls do you ever wonder that even you have a sister who is being talked about... ???
No na...Why?
Because she is your sister and gotta be clean and clear !!
Cause she is your sister?

Go and ask them, how they feel like!

women are actually responsible for their conditions cause they have been made to sacrifice.. be the fairer one and bear it all!
And last but not the least, rape cases, yet again women are responsible because you also say that women have right to equality, but women are supposed to be molested as the price for equality.
Isnt it?

Women are not responsible for their condition..actually women just care too much and always be the loser !

When the simplest of the things are not acceptable still in this male dominant society then how can you blame women alone??
Whatever it be...countries, or civilizations.. whatever... We women have always sacrificed out happiness to make you males happy and still
we get to hear that women are not trustable!

"Triya Charitram Purushashya bhagya; Devo na janahi kuto manushya."
